Elephant Stables is an old Colonial Bungalow and was previously the home of Sir Cudah Ratwatte, the patriarch of the island's leading aristocratic family. Many elephants were once housed in the gardens of his old plantation and hence named as "The Elephant Stables". The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes away from the Kandy city centre.

Interior of the property is a blend of contemporary design and Kandyan Heritage. Hotel gives views of the Knuckles mountain range. Unlike many luxury boutique hotels in Sri Lanka, The Elephant Stables welcomes families.

This Boutique Villa has six rooms while five are located on the upper floor of the Main House and one suite is in a separate garden cottage. The Stone House is a boutique villa situated around 10 minutes away from the Kandy city. The Stone House was initially owned by a Kandyan family and refurbished in 2014 and converted into a five-bedroom boutique villa offering luxurious accommodation.

This Boutique Villa offers three Standard Rooms and two spacious Suites open out to private terraces where you can enjoy the mountain views.
