This tour has been specially designed to provide an insight in to the ancient civilization of the country. You will be staying six nights in the cultural triangle visiting Four out of Eight UNESCO world heritage sites. You will be visiting archeological relic sites in Polonnaruwa to witness enormous dagobas (dome-shaped structures) and remains of the ancient buildings in the old cities, the Rock Temple Complex of Dambulla, world famous frescoes at Sigiriya Rock Fortress and the Kandy City, the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka and the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
A visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala is included and further you will witness the elephants in their natural habitat in Minneriya National Park by a safari jeep.
You will not miss the misty mountains covered with lush green tea bushes and splendid waterfalls. You will be finishing the tour by staying one night in vibrant Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
