Grand Hotel is located in the Nuwara Eliya city itself. This property was the residence of Sir Edward Barnes, the governor of Sri Lanka in the 1820s. Hotel is situated more than 6000 feet above sea level, in a beautifully landscaped, award winning 4 acre garden. Climate in Nuwara Eliya is similar to an English summer day. Victorian architecture is found in the hotel and many other heritage properties in Nuwara Eliya. Hotel still maintains its original charm and grandeur.

Hotel offers 145 Deluxe Rooms, 4 Junior Suites and 3 Presidential Suites which stretch along the Governor's Wing and the Golf Wing. Governor's Wing rooms are furnished with colonial period antiques and Golf wing rooms are furnished in slightly modern fashioned fittings. In-room facilities include en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, satellite TV, IDD telephone, Wi-Fi, minibar, tea/coffee making facility, in-room safe, 24 hour room service and laundry service. Most of the rooms have fireplaces although these days an electric heater is lit in its place on a cold night. There are several suites and interconnecting bedrooms that are well suited for families.

The Grand Hotel offers many dining options for the guests; the main restaurant – "Barnes Hall" offers buffet style service with an array of international cuisine, "Grand Thai" offers exotic and Asian flavours, "Grand Indian" serves authentic Indian cuisine which is prepared by a celebrity chef who hails from North India, "Magnolia" - 24 hour restaurant offers a selection of Far-eastern and European cuisine including burgers and an assortment of sandwiches, "Tea Lounge" serves a range of Ceylon teas, "Piano Lounge" is a cozy enclave to unwind with friends & family, "The Public Bar" offers a wide selection of drinks, from Single Malts and Cognacs to Cocktails and Fresh fruit juices, in "the Wine Bar" Sommelier will recommend wines to complement any occasion and "The Coffee Bar" offers an array of specialty coffees including Cappuccinos.

Other facilities include banquet and conference facilities for up to 200 guests, business center, a health center and sauna, children's play area and a small shopping arcade.

St Andrew's Hotel is located close proximity to Nuwara Eliya town, 6000 feet above the sea level. This is a former country house converted into a Hotel; life at Jetwing St. Andrews is reminiscent of the days of the British Rulers. This

Tudor-style colonial mansion was built in the latter part of the 19th century.

Hotel offers 40 Superior Rooms, 7 Deluxe Rooms, 4 Suites and 1 Superior Suite. Rooms are located in two wings, the Golf Wing and the Nuwara Eliya Wing. In room facilities include en-suite bathrooms with hot water, heaters on request, telephone, TV and mini bar.

Langdale by Amaya is a boutique hotel situated in the Somerset Tea Estate, Radalla, about 10 km away from Nuwara Eliya town. This is a century old colonial property which has been refurbished maintaining its old world charm. White picket fencing, green roof, bright and airy interiors, antique style furniture, hardwood floors and old fireplaces gives Langdale a warm, cozy and a welcoming feel.

There are 13 well-appointed bedrooms open on to spectacular views of the surrounding tea hills. Rooms are classified as Superior, Luxury and Deluxe and are furnished with antique-style king or queen-size beds. The Heritance Tea Factory is a luxury hotel located about 14 km away from Nuwara Eliya. As the name claims, the hotel is a tea factory built in the 1930s by British planters and later converted in to a hotel. Heritance Tea Factory follows a strict green philosophy and does much to conserve nature and develop the local village communities.

Hotel offers 54 rooms categorized as 3 Premium Rooms, 39 Superior Rooms, 10 Executive Floor Deluxe Rooms, 1 Junior Suite and 1 Flower Dew Suite. Rooms are located in the Heathersett Wing and the Randenigala Wing and offers facilities include en-suite bathrooms, heating, satellite TV, IDD telephone, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, electronic safe, in-room dining and a fine selection of in-room teas.

The Kenmare Restaurant offers a wide range of Sri Lankan food and international dishes. Hotel's fine-dining restaurant is a restored railway carriage, where you can enjoy a five-course meal with an infusion of Western and Eastern influences.

Other facilities include two bars, TV and games room with pool tables and snooker, gymnasium, spa, sauna, mini-putting golf area (9 holes), mountain bikes, business center, conference facilities, library, doctor-on- call and baby-sitting service. Further, guests can pluck their own tea, process at the hotel's own miniature tea factory and take it home as a souvenir.

The Hill Club Nuwara Eliya was founded in 1876 by a group of British coffee planters as a private club and situated in 26 acre land adjoining the famous Nuwara Eliya Golf Club and the President's House in Nuwara Eliya. Club remains exclusively for members and their guests; however overseas visitors are welcomed as temporary visitors. Hill club maintains British colonial traditions and reflects exclusivity in style and class. The colonial architectural features such as wooden staircases, high roofs, hardwood floors and antique furniture are still maintained.

Certain club rules and regulations still persist such as attire after 7.00pm; guests should wear formal clothes (gentleman shall wear lounge suit/jacket with tie & shirt or Sri Lankan National Dress and ladies shall wear suitable equivalent attire) in the Mixed Bar, Reading Room, Main Dining room, Mixed lounge and the Billiards Room. However, Temporary members (tourists) who are unable to adhere to the dress code could dine at the Casual Dining Room known as the "Lilly Restaurant" and the casual Bar which has an informal ambience. However, Jackets and ties are freely available and could be borrowed from the Club Wardrobe, free of charge. Children under the age of five are not permitted within the clubhouse, but separate family holiday chalets with an adjoining play area is available within the extensive gardens for families travelling with young children

Hill Club offers 39 rooms within the main building including 2 suits on the upper floor and 3 family chalets are located in the garden. In-room facilities include hot & cold water, fireplaces (no longer lit but has an electric heater), satellite TV, IDD telephone, Wi-Fi, minibar, tea/coffee making facility and hair dryer.

Other facilities include a large reading room, mixed lounge, casual bar, mixed bar, casual dining room, billiard room equipped with 2 full sized tables, many board games, a dart room and a gymnasium. The main dining hall serves eastern and western cuisine and A'la Carte. Further 24 hour Room service, laundry service, car rental, Wi-Fi in public areas, a business center, separate venue for weddings and conferences are available. Also Hill Club boasts of four of the finest clay tennis courts in the Island and the Annual Ranking Tennis tournament is also conducted in the month of April at the Hill Club.

Anilana Craigbank is a beautiful 160 year old colonial bungalow situated in a 1 acre beautifully landscaped garden in Nuwara Eliya.

Interior of the hotel is warm and cozy with wooden floors, fabric-lined walls, antiques, plush sofas, and fireplaces that are lit at night. Anilana Craigbank has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate upto 8 adults and two children and rented exclusively to one party at a time.

Each bedroom has been furnished differently creating a unique personality for the North, South, East and West rooms.

Glendower Hotel features a restaurant and a bar. The restaurant serves Sri Lankan, Chinese, and western food. Snacks and tea is served in the gardens. Bar at Glendower is a popular venue in Nuwara Eliya and screens international cricket and football matches. The staff here has even been known to play western pop songs on guitar to help pass an enjoyable evening in the welcoming bar.

98 Acres Resort and Spa is a 12 room eco-friendly boutique hotel that stands on a scenic 98 acre tea estate, surrounded by a stunning landscape in Ella. The uniquely designed resort blends well with nature and mostly made of recyclable substance. Discarded railway sleepers were used to build walls, paving and even furniture and the chalets are adorned with thatched roofs of 'Illuk' straws. A 10 acre patch of land is left within the tea estate untouched and that attracts many species of hill country birds and is also ideal for trekking and nature trails.

The chalets open up to scenic views of the tea covered hills, Ella rock and Little Adam's Peak. Apart from the above, a helipad is located in the premises and helicopter pick up and drop off to and from the international airport is available and must be booked in advance. Further, helicopter tours including full day itineraries to many well-known attractions all over the country can be arranged by booking in advance.

However hotel doesn't provide Driver / Guides Accommodation, instead they provide the contact numbers and information of guest houses / hotels in a very close proximity to the resort and drivers and guides should arrange their own accommodation.

Bandarawela Hotel, situated in the city of Bandarawela, is a more than century-old property built by British. The hotels origin dates back to 1893, when the railways were being extended from Nanu Oya to the southern highlands.

There are 32 standard rooms and 1 suite. In room facilities include en-suite bathrooms, fan, piped music, TV and tea / coffee making facility. Suite is equipped with a mini bar and an A/C, however the cool climate doesn't require A/C.

Sri Lankan and Western cuisine is served in the main restaurant and can seat up to 70 guests. Main restaurant is situated overlooking the beautifully landscapes garden. Resident Bar and the Pub are great places to enjoy a cocktail or mocktail or a drink around the clock.
